Meet Dr. Amanda Hankins
Dr. Amanda Hankins
I’m Dr. Amanda, and I’m a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist hoping to serve you and your family! I strive to create an enjoyable and light-hearted atmosphere suitable for all personalities and needs. Being a mother has helped shape who I am as a dentist, and my goal is to help provide your children with structure and fun when it comes to oral health.
I am from Russellville, Arkansas, and completed my undergraduate work at the University of Central Arkansas. I went on to pursue my doctoral degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, where I graduated with highest honors. Following my time in Memphis, I completed my pediatric dental residency program at Texas A&M- Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. During my time in Dallas, I trained at three different hospitals—Children’s Medical Center, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, and Baylor Hospital—gaining valuable knowledge and experience working with special needs kids and the medically compromised.
Outside of the office, I love being a wife to Dr Steven Hankins and mother to our two children. I have a tremendous love for popcorn! My hobbies include lots of family time and all things health, fitness, and nutrition. I enjoy venturing into the world of functional medicine as well. My family and I are members of Fellowship Bible Church and we serve in multiple capacities there.
